I charge $30 per half-hour lesson and $55 per hour lesson. Teaching has been my lifelong passion, and I am incredibly grateful to be able to teach and share my love of music with you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions on getting things set up for lessons. If you have a dual-monitor setup, it makes the lessons even easier to view. I do not recommend doing lessons over a cell phone if possible. If you do not have stereo monitors, a good pair of headphones will enable you to hear higher quality audio than your typical computer speakers. My microphone setup uses Neve 1071 preamps through an Audio Technica Lavalier Microphone for crisp and clear voice. My guitars are in stereo using a Fractal Audio Axe FXIII.

If you have stereo monitors hooked up to your computer, I broadcast my audio in stereo using high-quality Lynx Aurora converters. I suggest using an Ethernet connection instead of using wireless for a more responsive experience. Internet speeds faster than dial-up are needed for good connection. Skype also works if you prefer it, but generally, I do recommend using Zoom. Zoom has the best audio and video settings, and will allow you to get the best sound possible from me. Out of the platforms that are currently available, I like Zoom first and then Skype second. What technology do you recommend for online lessons? As long as you are consistent in practice, you will progress during our lessons together. PDF form, and custom backing tracks for practice. I use the technology to our fullest advantage when we work together to ensure that you get a clear view from multiple angles, stereo sound, custom notes in. During this time, my online students have developed just as rapidly as my private students. I have been teaching students from all over the United States using Skype and Zoom since 2012. Online lessons can be just as effective as in-person lessons.
